Star Festival originally comes from Chinese . It is to celebrate the day when the two stars, Altair and Vega, which are usually from each other by the Milky Way, are able to meet again.
On Tanabata Matsuri, people write their wishes on a piece of paper, and it on a specially erected tree, in the hope that their wishes will true.
