国際クラスについて About us

熊本大学教育学部附属学校では、令和８年度（２０２６年）から国際クラスの開設を予定しています。

Schools attached to the Faculty of Education, Kumamoto University, will start a new international education program from FY 2026.

　国際クラスでは、日本の学習指導要領に沿って、多くの教科等の時間を英語で授業で学ぶ、いわゆる英語による「イマージョン教育※」を行う予定です。 
　この国際クラスで実施予定の英語イマージョン教育では、英語能力の習得と教科等の学びの充実を同時に目指します。日本人及び外国人の児童生徒からなる学級編制を想定しており、日常の中で英語を使う場面が自然と生まれることになります。 
　また、日本人とネイティブの外国人教師が二人体制で授業を行い、必要に応じて日本語も併用し、身に付けさせたい資質・能力の育成を目指し、きめ細やかな指導を行います。

  In the International Course, students will learn in a well-balanced English and Japanese environment (English Immersion Education*) in accordance with the Curriculum Standards (Course of Study) in Japan. During our English immersion education, both growth of linguistic abilities (e.g. linking experiences and language, reading and thinking logically, and basic learning activities) and comprehension of each subject are expected. Particularly, due to class system of joint learning by Japanese and international students together, children’s listening and speaking skills in both languages will naturally develop through learning and school life.  
   In addition, team-teaching consisting of Japanese teachers and English native instructors are planned in every class, therefore necessary support in Japanese will also be provided to deepen the students’ understanding of the learning contents.
