令和8年度(2026年度)児童募集における国際クラスの新1年生【一般枠】に求める英語力の目安は次のとおりです。
※外国人・帰国児童枠に求める英語力ではありません。

The English proficiency requirements for new Grade 1 students in International Course [General Quota, ippannwaku(一般枠)]  for the 2026 academic year admissions are as follows.
*This does not apply to the English proficiency requirements for the Foreigners and Returnee Children Quota, gaikokujin/kikokujido-waku(外国人・帰国児童枠).

• 20 までの数・数字を数えることができ、認識できる
• 基本的な図形を認識し、言うことができる(circle, triangle, square, rectangle など)
• 基本的な色を認識し、言うことができる(red, blue, yellow, green, white など)
• 英語での簡単な質問に答えたり、指示にしたがったりすることができる
• 英検４級相当以上のリスニング問題を聞いて理解できる
• アルファベットの大文字及び小文字を認識できる

• Can count and recognize numbers up to 20.
• Can recognize and name basic shapes. (circle, triangle, square, rectangle, etc.)
• Can recognize and name basic colors. (red, blue, yellow, green, white, etc.)
• Can answer simple questions in English and follow instructions.
• Can understand listening questions equivalent to or above Eiken Grade 4 level.
• Can recognize uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet.

上に示すものはあくまで一つの目安であり、選考考査自体は幅広く、様々な観点から出題をし、選考においては総合的に判断をする予定です。

また、入学後のことを考えると、自身の学びや成長を楽しみつつ、さらに高い英語力を身に付ける努力を続けることが望ましいと考えています。

The items listed above are merely guidelines. The selection examination itself will cover a broad range of topics and questions from various perspectives, and decisions will be made based on a comprehensive evaluation.

Furthermore, considering school life after enrollment, it is desirable for students to continue to strive to acquire even higher levels of English proficiency while enjoying their learning and personal growth.
